There are a number of sounds associated with a British Summer, the first, melodic calls of the cuckoo, the splash of an early morning trout stealing up on a fly, the unmistakable sound of leather on wood and the bellowing cry of "BOWLERS NAME?" from the scorers on the rickety chairs.

Alas, no more will this call, echo across the wicket at DACD matches, thanks to our handy, and quite frankly, indespensible, guide to the DACD first 11 ! Feast your eyes upon the demon bowlers, the master swordsman and the cat like fielders who do battle with the finest Hampshire has to offer twice a week during the hazy, and occasionally muddy, days of summer.

One of our players, Guy Andrews, had a trial for Sussex ! Oh, hang on... Sorry he had a trial IN Sussex !! He was arrested by the fashion police for wearing a particularly nasty hat and shorts combo WITH flip-flops !
